This post is to show Bobby725 an old bath tub like he posted.
This is in the John Slaughter Ranch House in Cochise County outside of Douglas, Arizona.
Around 1880 he bought 65,000 acres of the original 73,200 Perez grant in the South West corner of Arizona. The Gadsen Purchase had re-drawn the lines and now 2/3 of his ranch was in Mexico. He eventually purchased more land that reached 100,000 acres on the U.S. side of the border.
Photo #4 shows the Mexico Border Fence.

A must see tour if you ever get to that part of the country.

Bobby725, sorry about the gender mistake & made correction above.
The tub you posted has a lot more character, and not knowing anything about these I cannot say which one is older.
The only comment I would have, is that yours has a drain which I would think would be something one would think of after many times of dipping out used water after a bath. Also the handles are a good feature.
There appears to be a manufactures mark/name on the narrow end of the one pictured above, but I can't clearly enlarge enough to make out what it says.
      Thank you for the appreciation,
      Dave
