Mattel Talking Casper the Friendly Ghost Doll

Made by Mattel in the early 1960s this is Casper the Friendly Ghost. He stands about 15" tall and talks when the string in the back of neck is pulled. Sadly this one is intelligible although my cats can understand him.
He has a hard plastic head and a terrycloth covered body. As can be seen in the last photos he has ears covered by his terrycloth hood.
As he is a friendly ghost he is sitting with his friends Mortimer Snerd and Beary Bear on the toy box bench.
