I bought this old Wayne Clockface pump over 40 yrs ago and happened to find a box of nos Bay Gas faces and ripple body globes at an old Bulk Plant and put one of them on the Wayne. This stands outside the library at our home and no one ever sees it so I thought I'd post it on CW for all to enjoy. Unfortunately I let a Picker buy the other Bay faces from me but I do still have some more ripple Body Globe rings. I plan on adding this pump to the Collection at aaaLakeside Storage Museum when I get time to move it. When we first started collecting Signs we lucked out and bought this matching Bay gas sign that goes with our pump. It's already at the Museum.
Cool pump:) I love the Bay sign too. Did I tell you I found one in plain sight in front of the gas station, but it's painted over on both sides. Probably only reason it's still there. I also found a SPEED sign in a little town both stations are a couple hours from each other.
Trey, get em before someone else does is all I can say!
I've tried contacting the guy who owns the SPEED sign I called the daughter in law and she said she would give him my number and still haven't heard anything, I'm temped to drive the 2 hours to his house and see if I can talk face to face sometimes that helps.
Get your feisty wife in the car & go out for Breakfast & off to visit the guy. Face to face is always better. U can't miss on deals you know about as there is always some Picker out there who will beat you to it if you don't move quickly. Good luck!
