    This is my Royal Sutherland bone china plate, it was given to my wife several years ago, and now trying to find out its authenticity, we are sorting out all the antique bits and bobs at the moment, and have some fairy collectors plates somewhere.

      "What ship is that?"

      I had to say it, I'm re-reading the Aubrey/Maturin series.

      Do you think the image is a random, mythical ship or a real one? It looks like there's a jack flying, but it doesn't look to be armed (I can't see any gunports).

      Hi thanks for your comment, to be honest I'm not sure, it's probably a mythical shop, as there is no clue on the plate, unless somebody knows different.
