I just picked up these interesting armchairs, I haven't seen anything like them before! I can't see any makers marks on them, maybe they're a generic armchair, but said I'd see if all you more knowledgeable people might have an idea! I think the back rest may have been heightened when it was reupholstered?
These look 1960s-1970s to me.
I would try to have them put back to original. The back does not go that high.
I thought that too! I'm going to take off the upholstery in the next few days, I think I'm going to find brackets extending the back!
