Buddy L ( junior line ) dump truck 1931-1932 type II . Restored

Found this 24" big toy truck @ an antique mall recently . The seller didn't know the make or what year it was made. It has been restored but the truck was missing the decals. These are rare because they were only made for two years. I've already ordered the decals and she will take her place in my collection. Been looking for one of these for years. They show up on ebay once in a blue moon and are sky high in price. The tires are Firestone and are original with cracks and all. Really a neat old toy from the 30's. This truck back in 1932 sold for $5 which back then was a lot of money for a toy. In the middle of the Great Depression most of these toys were bought by the wealthy families. The Vanderbilt's were known to play with such toys back in the day.
