Bertalan Bodnar Original Oil Painting

Beautiful abstract portrait painting by Bertalan Bodnar. Bodnar was a Hungarian born (1909-1985) Artist and member of the Cuban Art Center in the early 1950s in Havana, Cuba. This is an original painting oil, signed on the lower right. Looks like a Phoenix comming out of the Ashes to me. What do you think?

This painting came out of an old physicans house that was purchased as an estate. His wife was a collector of fine art, mainly modern. This piece is one of over 60 works I aquired as a lot. These works of art have been sitting in a dark, dusty back storage room forgotten for 6 years till I found them. Enjoy!
