I was wondering if anyone could help me as to what these things are there is a R on one and a L on the other. I found them in my fathers Barn he must have got them at an auction years ago you know how people collect things
Thank you
Dave
They are for an extension ladder.
I saw this I said whatttttttttttt..lol they hold the runs together ...might be off a wooden ladder ...look heavy dute
Rustfarm hit it. They are called rung locks and mount on an extension ladder. I would say these are fairly old because the flippers appear to be metal. Now days the flippers are plastic so they break more often and buy more. I just bought a set of flippers for one of my fiberglass ladders and they were $18. Cheap plastic with springs that are even cheaper. Sign of the times.......throw away world with no quality.
tHanks so much guys, I should have known how stupid of me
if u never use one... how could u know...the only stupid question is the one you don't ask... the old fella told me ...
