Another piece that I am really curious about. I found it on that auction site for a few dollars and by the looks of it I thought it could possibly be mocha ware. After seeing it in person I am not so sure. It is small, only about 3 1/2 inches tall and wide, and light. The clay looks to be pale, off-whitish in color. I don't think it is stoneware because it would be much heavier. It has some age to it, as we can see from the wear on the bottom. It does have a mocha ware type look but I am not sure, could it be delft? Please help, thank you!
Thanks for the loves manikin, agram, mikelv, and vetraio
thanks violetorange for the love!
Definitely not mocha ware nor stoneware. Fairly modern 20th century pitcher-shaped tin glazed ceramic with underglaze hand painted blue cobalt decoration
ok, thank you nora!
