Found this at sale. I believe that it is a German bisque boy doll. Will someone help me to i d this piece? It is 12 inches tall and has no marks on it , If in fact it is German i would like to know , i would like to have an ideal of it's age. Thank you so much. Robert
Please delete last photo and post close up of hand ok
The doll is not bisque however without holding it I need to see what was under paint that is flaking off .
The doll is painted composition, could be rubber underneath since it is flaking this way. Def not bisque which is unfired porcelain
Thank you Manikin and Nora for your comments. I tried to change the pictures but the add pictures didn't show... so maybe i just don't know how to do it. Sorry.
linda go to edit and delete last photo and then upload a new one . It should work if you delete last photo . This doll has me a bit confused on how made as it appears to be rubber over celluloid the cracking of paint is not the common pattern except for a rubber product put over him . He is not composition either , Are you in US ?
Manikin , i added a part 2 of the doll with more pictures. Hope this helps, thank you. Robert
