I don't get a Czech vibe with this beautiful Silver Overlay Black Amethyst vase. In fact, I remember seeing these "SWANS in a CAMEO" in one of my American Glass Reference books but I can't for the life of me remember where I saw them. The vase measures 8" tall, has a scalloped rim with the thick Silver Overlay design on two sides. Any ideas on country of origin, maker? Thanks everyone. RER(BOB)
Perhaps Libbey? I know they made a lot of black amethyst glass
It is called silver overlay. Cambridge Glass did a swan pattern.

Thank you robin56 and NoraTheTreasureHuntress for the comments and love. After reading your Cambridge Article, I wonder if the foliage beside the Swans could be Cattails......if so, this could be a Cambridge Vase decorated by the DePasse Pearsall Co. of N.Y.
