I have had this piece for a little while. Finding a red or Red Garnet Full Body Intaglio was a very cool experience. I for one have never seen or found one....until a while ago. The dealer said they were told it was a u common Red Carved Garnet. The back and the sides of the stone is faceted. Very beautifully made. The mounting is Sterling and and wonderfully claw prongs and leaf etching is lovely. This measures 1.25" in length. Thanks for looking.
