This is Johannes Theodorus Daanen 1886-1913 this photo is taken in 1907
He's the first husband of my step great grandmother.
I still have no clue in which part of the army he was..so maybe someone can help me out? I have added another photo of his regiment?? He is also from The Netherlands.
My step great grandmother lost her husband in 1913 and 5 years later she lost her 6 year old son...not an easy life. Luckily she married my great grandfather in 1919 so she got a lot of babies/children to look after and she also had another son in 1923.
Cheers and thanks.

I tried to do some looking online in regards to the uniform, but didn't find much. You may want to find a local military Historian to help you.
Fine looking man , thanks for sharing.
Nice photo.
I love military images, but don't know much about the non US. There are a few others on here who have more familiarity with this type of item.

Maybe you can contact this Library in Netherlands to ask them:

I can add one observation. His hat in picture #1 shows crossed cannons on the front, which would be indicative of someone who served in the Artillery.
Sorry that I cannot be of more assistance.

Thanks for all your help..!
