Garage Chairs!

I know nothing about Chairs, so apologies for the lack of information. We've found these old chairs in my Mother's garage. She says they've been in the family for years and are original 17th/18th Century chairs but that's as much as I know. Just wondering if anybody knows anything more about them, or where to look. Is it worth restoring them, couple are quite badly aged!
