Looking for information on this scale, which has a Michigan certification dated 1980.
The information plate says that it is an 8 lb scale, style 30.715, number 817640 but the numbers on either side only go to 5 lbs. I've been told that it is a candy scale, but everything I've found on candy scales tells me that they only go to 3 lbs. If anyone can shed any light on this item, maybe it's age for instance, I would appreciate it.
