Hi all,
I occasionally "inherit" bags of broken watches ... In this group ... The Omega is still running ... Lol ...
Peace, love and wish I was a tinker, not a thinker ... although you need to think while you tink ...

Nice group, show me the back on the Omega, you might have a really nice goodie
It is just a plain back
does the crown(winder) have an omega symbol?
Nope ....
more than likely replica watch
send them to me and I'll look, but betting it's not
Lol ... A fake ???
lol, replica sounds better
There is the back ...
How do i get the back off ? Hammer ??
I tried to download, for some reason won't let me....
send me an email......
Lol ... I was so impressed that this old watch still ran ...
The back just is marked 14k gold filled L&K
OMGosh ... You know when the post is junk ... No love ...lol ...
Great looking key!!

found a 50s era seamaster that looks prety dang close to that one i dont think its a replica http://www.antiquewatchcouk.com/petespages/omega/omega-seamaster-bumper-automatic-circa-1953-unusual-dial/prod_196.html and
http://www.farfo.com/menswatches/Page5/omega-seamaster-automatic-vintage-watch-gold-filled.html also this one REALY close http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs-vintage-omega-seamaster-solid-14k-gold-mens-bumper-354-automatic-895-1771970.html
thin k its a mid 50s bumper omega prolly bout a decent good valued watch
those had realy plain backs

no idea why link doesnt work let me know if you get thru its very nearly identical to yours
easiest way ive found to remove screw on backs like that is a ball of ducttape with the sticky side out,.hold in hand press sticky side against back n unscrew it like opening a jar,..don't need a whole lota force sneak up on it slowly don't wanna accidentally throw the watch across the room those bumper movements are failry distinctive look for a pic online n compare,..isnt like normal self winders you see only swings part way
if its a replica its a realy cool replica lol
Kyratango ... Thanks :)
Shawnicus .. Thanks :) I might try that ...
Nice Omega. With some dial glass polish it is family heirloom, from father to "son".
These are build to last.
