This figurine was passed down from my grandmother and unfortunately i never found out anything on it due to an untimely death. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. As you can see its marked "Dresden-Art" and also reads "Made in Germany". It has a "10" which i believe would be the 10th figurine made of this model, correct me if i'm wrong, and there's also a faint "459" etched there too, which could be the artists identifying mark? I'm still learning as i go so please correct me if wrong. I'm totally overwhelmed with what workshop this came from, Berlin, Dresden, Bavaria? I don't believe its a original Meissen but i have no clue, porcelain is not my fortay. Please help!! I'm well aware how collectible and priceless these pieces are and would like to get it insured if its of high ranking value. Thank you all that are willing to shed some light on this!
Family Treasures are priceless:)
