The dish has applied black feet with splatter decoar with lines of black. Not sure if the vase is made by the same company as it doesn't have the clear outer coat. When the sun is shining and I am riding my Harley....stopping at antique shops and find a great piece like the candy dish for steal....It turns a good day into a great day!!!!

This is a great décor but I have no idea who made it. Ian

I love your three vases in your Avatar. I just posted two other items in this exact colour combination. RER(BOB)

I think they are likely by the same house. I have tried for several years now to identify the house that made this decor... to no avail....

I have another vase the same size, shape, and finale that I will post together when I go back home.

They're probably Ernst Steinwald. Here's a Ernst Steinwald caltalog page showing this threaded decor. See #4281, in the top row, next to the Steinwald stripes and spots decor.

So it appears to be your opinion Charcoal, that these examples of glass are a match to the Steinwald line art directly above them in this linked image? Is that an accurate statement?

      http://www.kralik-glass.com/cwimages/LineArtComparison.jpg

If so, which one of those two decors does the glass match? 1079 or 2044?
If not, what evidence is your claim based on?

I am also curious if you have an opinion regarding the possibility of others making a similar decor? Here is an image showing a number of examples which appear pretty different, and do not really match any of the artwork you seem to be basing your guess on.

Are all of these Steinwald? If so, how did you arrive at that conclusion. If not, which ones actually are, and on what is that conclusion based?

I look forward to a detailed explanation. I am seriously interested in what methodology you employed to arrive at that conclusion. :-)
