    Hi all,

Been going thru my museum basement, organizing and mostly revisiting past picks ... I am drawn towards art glass, but keep finding these random broken watches ... The crown (just learned that term yesterday) is missing.

Hmmm ... Why would i get this ? Probably because of that gold-tone mesh band ... Wow!!! This must have looked spectacular on the lady who wore this ....

    Peace and love and hope,

    Eye4beauty

Yep, no doubt the mess strap is a keeper....bet you paid a whappin 10 cents or so for it if any....but put this on a "Big" frame watch, will be awesome...

Just FYI...George uses straps like this on some of his nicer pieces he wears out and about.... He sent me photos just the other day of one on a Bi-Centennial Mickey I sent over to him , with no strap. Was his B-day gift from me(watch) and he dressed it up with this style strap

Kerry ... My mother-in-law makes victorian shadow boxes ... I am thinking that this was in a bag of misc. buttons, pins etc. that I thought she might want to look through for her craft projects ... She was looking for watches at one point, so probably why I am finding these ...

Hey....all the better...long lost free-bees. I remember when "Shadow Box" was an ongoing "Craft" project...seems my mother did a few and displayed them in her living room for years, I'll have to ask her if she has them
