Just a quick post of a F-4 J on the cat of the USS Forestall. Photo #1 is ready...photo#2 is GOOOOOOOOOOO....The bird is one of VMFA-451 (Warlords) aircraft. This float was approx. 1973/74, been a few years back, so don't quote me on the date.

Eye4....nope no set....once they put the rail down and extend the front landing gear....there's this "OH SH*T" and away you go, once you reach the end of the cat and clear the deck, your bird will drop below the level of the ship's deck and you're wondering if she'll pull up or if ship will be up your.....well you get the idea.
Thanks Eye4 and have a great day digging in the museum
