    Another Baltimore find, this vase is in the same decor as a decorated bowl that I posted a few weeks ago. (see last photo)

    The decor is "Braun Silberiris", which can be proven: the decor on the bowl shown in the last photo is DEK 455, which according to the decor descriptions for PN II-842 (a different shape), one of the decors listed is "Braun Silberiris, Dekor 455". It all fits. :)

    The undecorated vase has an interesting tooled fire-polished rim, and finely ground and polished pontil. This shape has been found in other Loetz decors. I love this decor because of the striking contrast between the brown and the blue.

      There are a lot of glass collectors that favor the "Greens", but nothing says "Beautiful" like the "Blues"...this is a wonderful shade of blue
