Hello, i am from Germany, i need some Help.
A Friend of mine became two unknown Tools for his little Museum, no one knows the exact name and the purpose of these tools. The patentee was a certain August Roehner from Plauen in Saxony Germany.
The Patent Office can not find anything.
Who can say for which craft these tools were used?
    Many thanks for your help!

I would sooner think it was an enlargement and reduction gauge of some sort. Possibly for elongation.

Hi, You posted two great pictures. Now can you show us the other side of each one? I want to know if the arms are hard fastened, or are on swivels like the pointed ends are. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I have no access to these tools, can therefore also provide no other images. The mass of the tools are not known to me. Sorry ....
