I'm trying to identify the purpose, age and maker of these brass spring loaded candlesticks. They are brass, 26" inch tall, and include a long spring to move the candle up as they burn. The bases of each candle sound as if they are filled with sand. Any information about the style, purpose, age, or maker would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
