Have had these since 1991 not sure how long my grandmother had them, they are very heavy no markings of what they are made of. Hoop is about one inch, design is flower I believe, no tarnishing, no dates, nothing to destinguish how hold they might be. She did not have anything matching to go with only the earrings. She was very good about having matching sets.
