This is a flag i found while doing a house clean out of a 101year old woman that went into a nursing home, id love to know its value for my own knowoldge i know its a "bennington Flag" its a little yellow faded, from age, it looks really OLD its made of cotton, it has 13 stars and the "76" on it. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

yes it says "pioneer" from pennsylvania
one way to let you get on the right path right away is check the stars the original bennington stars are hand sewn if this isnt its a dead give away right off the bat
No they are not hand sewn, it looks like its just printed on there.. Valley fordge flag company os where it was made.
bennington flag popularity flown during our bi- centenial flag is prob 3x5 labled pioneer made by valley forge flag company in spring city pa. prior to 1975 and no longer available. the original was flown by the militia in bennington vt. on aug 16 1777 when the good ole green mountain boys defended the stored mutions and defeated some 600 mercenaries at the battle of bennington. its still worth a little bit of money though.want to know any more type in worthapedia and your flag people are still buying them.
