This is a bit of a mystery...I don't know who they are? They were in the collection of old family photos...and this one intrigued me..esp. because of the style of dress the woman is wearing??
Is this taken in another country cause I thought it looked asian? The original photo is locket size...I enlarged it at work...any chance some one can help me out??

I do not see ANY Asian traits in the photo, neither the woman or the baby.
Yes...I was not talking about the people being asian, but the dress feels asian..with these markings??
Could be--but not enough to see if it is a komono--Not many were wearing black in the daytime..She is very intense--and just gorgeous. Baby dosen't display traits from the mother--maybe looks like daddy..and maybe she isn't the mom. I doubt we will ever be able to tell much.. These were beloved and in a locket worn next to someone's heart...maybe that is the BEST thing to know for sure!!!
