Beautiful bird DD. The piece is called the Peach-Faced Lovebird designed by Maestro Francesco around 1984. It was part the limited edition Hamilton Collection entitled "Exotic Birds of the World". I believe there are either 6 or 8 in the collection.
Thanks for some of the history on this parrot Rick . Now I can try to build the whole collection someday.
It's a great set DD. I've sold many of these throughout the years, they're very much in demand. I can't remember for sure, but I think they made 7500 of each. There's another limited ed. set by the same designer, "Magnificent Birds of Paradise". It's a fantastic set! A soon as I get one, it's gone in no time.
