Just though I'd share this with everyone and hopefully someone might be able to confirm it as Josef Hospodka for Chribska.
I was posting a letter at a local post office in Yorkshire which has a charity shop opposite, so I though I'd just 'nip in' to have a look at the bric-a-brac. As I walked in I saw this huge piece on the shelf - it measures 19" in length (50 cms) x 6.5" at the widest point (17 cms) and is 5" tall (13 cms) and comes in at a massive 4 lb 13 oz (2.2 kgs). Brilliant colours.
Unfortunately no label so I'm not 100% sure it's a Czech piece, it could be Murano.
Anyone seen anything similar
If you search ebay.co.uk for 'Chribska Bowl' you will find several Chribska versions of this shape. There are differences but you could then make up your own mind......
Possibly Chalet glass from Canada? The 4 lobed base is very common for them, and many of their pieces left the factory with no markings
Yes, Makes me think of Chalet // Lorraine Art Glass from Canada -- as the 4 lobed base is very common as said above. Eg:

see the feet on these.......also, as these are lobes on the feet.
