    Bought this unusual small cup at estate sale. Doesn't have any makers marks. Had to have it. Any info would be nice. Approximately 2.5" x 4.5" tall.

      Looks to be made of pewter. Can you give a better description of the words on the back?

      Looks like an aluminum casting. Is the interior rough/ cut out looking or similar to the outside?

      Maybe a metal shop project that wasn't finished as the casting roughness still shows on the base.

      A photo of the bottom and interior would be helpful.

      Good chance it's from Germany but that is only a guess going by the pictures on the Stein itself. Sorry apart from that I'm of no help. Have a great day

      Pictures on the stein are the Great Seal of the United States (front and back)!

      Thanks Scott to me the bird looks like a eagle so reminded me of Germany. Good luck finding out what you need to know
