This is a piece I found a while ago...and it's a fixer upper. This is hall marked with an eagle stamp and is tested 18k and silver mounting. The diamonds are either mine OMC or Rose Cut. This was originally a brooch. I took off the bar in the back. The clasp was a simple "C" clasp. Dating it in the mid to late 1800's. There is a diamond missing. So, this is a work in progress. Thanks for looking.
Toni, many thanks for the quick love!!
Ravishing!
I think it is rather platinum than silver, and dating around 1910, garland style :-)
Kyra, you maybe right about that. I will change the post. So you think Nouveau or ?
No Lee, it is not in Nouveau style... Garland style is French for Edwardian (we don't use terms related to British royalty in France, lol).
The setting is called millegrain :-)
Kyra, I figured it out and changed it before your response. Many thanks my friend ! I rescued a pair of Victorian Diamond earrings recently. They are amazing! They have damage. Missing about 9 OMC and Rose cut diamonds.
Thanks for your thanks ;-)
Would love to see your rescued earrings!
Val, xoxox love U!
Love it I meant to have a closer look at this yesterday as before I blew it up in the smaller pictures they look like little faces to me anyway.
Oooooh, this is a right sparkler, wow!!!
Val, thank you for being so wonderful and kind. I speculate our friendship. Xoxo. Call me
Zowie, you are quite artsy in your vision. I can see that now.
Katherine, many thanks
