Marx Johnny West Buckskin Horse aka Nodder

The Buckskin/nodders were introduced in 1970 for the knights and Vikings. In 1974 it was released as the Buckskin horse and sold until the line and company ended in 1977.
The difference between the knight/Viking horses and those for the western line is the wheels in the hooves. The knight and Viking horses had wheels and the western Buckskin horses had no wheels.
Marx figures had date stamps until 1975. This does not mean when they were made but generally when they made a change or introduced a figure there would be a date stamp in roman numerals to reflect this. A date stamp is in photo four.
These had moveable heads and necks to add some articulation. 99% of the time they want their heads down in grazing position which is a tad annoying. Nothing says charge more than a grazing horse.
