These are much darker in colour than other Welz yellow/white spatter pieces I have because the inner is a rich gold rather than the usual lemon yellow. When I say usual I mean usual amongst the pieces I own.
I particularly like that, once made, the vase was looped round upon itself! It has a six sided outer rim, but the gold inner is circular. The green feet are horribly damaged.....
Height 20 cm./8 inches
Wow!!!!
Thank you, Moonstonelover, I do love a 'Wow' :-)
Well, nutsabotas, I mostly find these on ebay. Today I bought a pair of pink cottage Welz which the seller had listed as 'Caithness'. You couldn't find two makers with more disparate styles! So there were no other bidders :-)
Yes the feet are irregular so damage isn't obvious..... Thanks for the appreciation.
What a striking pair Peggy! I love the the contrast between the green and yellow and am wild about those loops! And don't worry about the feet... you can always throw some socks on them, and nobody will know :)
LOL.....hey, Rick I'd better get knitting, can't buy that size ready made!
Thank you for the loves, Moonstonelover, nutsabotas, smiata, welzebub, MacArt, aghcollect, VioletOrange, IanBrighton, mikelv, vetraio, racer, Manikin and Rick.

Thank you so much, antiquerose, nice to hear from you :-)
All the above, and another WOW.
Loving pair.

Thank you, Alan, another wow is much appreciated!
You found these on eBay! Well done. I didn't see them. Maybe I should be searching Caithness, lol. They're beauties!
Perhaps you should, Fran.....my latest Welz purchases were listed as Caithness!
Better late than never, thanks for the loves, racer, Ivonne, kivatinitz, EZa, Indrozdenko, SEAN, antiquerose, Alan, inky and Vintagefran.
