Hi, all. I just created an account. My wife and I have many items received from family members and we're just starting to look through them. The only Google hit I got on this tape measure is from a 1948 Popular Science introducing it as a new product. The tape itself is in good shape (not bent) and the light actually works! Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thx much in advance and take care. Tom
