I bought these at an antique estate sale in West Virginia. They were sold as miniature odd face candles. When I got them home I discovered they aren't wax candles at all. They're possibly a wooden or resin like substance. They have a white tiny tube from the back ending in the mouth. And each have a metal hook located on the back. The white tube slides around and can tuck underneath the metal hook. They are photographed with a coin for size comparison. They are painted green and one red. Thank you for any information , Renee Farley
Thank you for the loves. aghcollect and vetraio50
These are very odd. I wish I could help, but they are just so far out of my experience. I don't know what sort of device you used to take the pics but unfortunately, doesn't allow for enlarging, which might be helpful in terms of looking more closely at the details. From this view, the closest thing I can thing of is tragedy masks.
I hadn't thought of that. Thank you. One lady suggested to me that they might be old girl scout neckerchief pins. Any thoughts? I may try to take some larger pics.
Without being able to look more closely at the photos, hard to say.
