    stand 5 inches tall ....pretty heavy ...nice design ....is this a half egg paper weight ...i can't make out the signature looks like the zuco ......can any body make out this name

      Looks modern Czech to me but I can't make out that signature. Nice one.

      I see the signature as first initial H last name starting with L, and under that the numbers 2000 10 - 90, which I would guess to mean the year, and perhaps a production run. Nice paperweight. :)

      The good news? That signature is on Glasmarken Lexikon. The bad news? I haven't paid the $$ to find out who it actually is. If you 'know people', you won't have to do much searching. Check under 'Marks'/'Words unreadable, All'/'L' - it's the 2nd to last row, one from the left (white script on black background). Hope this helps!

      Hi, I own a similar piece and after extensive research, I learned that the artist who created my egg is Henry Summa. I think yours might be by the same artist. Check out this link: http://www.glass-art.com/ArtistPages/summa.htm Good luck!
