So I've only bought a few pieces of fine art, mainly on hunches, and they have all panned out so far. Today was another such; I saw this print tacked up to a wall at a ridiculously low price and half off today! The print is somewhat creased but it's been protected by plastic. I checked the artist's name, Karl R. Broodhagen, when I got home, turns out he was the breakout artist of the Barbados, with three prominent pieces of public art of some fame, he is especially known for the Bussa Emancipation Statue, his work has been featured on stamps, and is part of several private collections. I haven't been able to find an archive of his work online so have been unable to track down this particular work. The name of the piece is Nina, as is handwritten in the right hand corner by the artist, with his signature in the other corner, below the signature of the original. This appears to be a litho on heavy embossed paper. I hope you enjoyed seeing this, and thanks for looking.

Hi Katherine. This is a great piece of art but the reason I'm commenting on it is because I was looking for a painting (or print) I thought you posted not long ago that was of a Native American male and you did not know who he was. I think I found it on-line, I just knew I would, but as I look for him here he's gone. Maybe it wasn't you that posted it??? If not, do you happen to remember who may have posted what I am speaking of? Thanks K
