I have never seen a ring by Bernard Instone in this style, I think it is truly lovely. It is marked sterling but no makers mark. The leaves form the main shape in which are 2 pearls, the pearls are fixed on a wire which goes through them and makes them look like the stem of a berry. The leaves also extend to form the shank of the ring. The workmanship of the leaves and the structure of the back are all typical of Instones work. I believe the ring was make around the 1940s but not a hundred percent sure. I have done a Kyra and checked on the Pearls, in my opinion they are synthetic, but I could be wrong. Instone did use synthetic stones in his jewellery.
The ring is 2 cm long and 1 cm wide excluding the shank.
Many thanks for looking.
A lovely lovely ring Jean. As you say, those pearls on a stem are wonderful!

It looks so organic -- with the picture taken with the other leaves behind it.
LOVE it !!
Very pretty! Funny how you know who posted by the color of the nail polish!!! Lol!
Lol shareurpassion, I do change colour sometimes, but I do tend to go for the same colours without realising. I only have to go through my postings and your quite right about the nail varnish.
Hi antiquerose thank you for your comment, and passing by.
Many thanks
