This is a interesting vase. I believe the whole vase is hand painted and the detailing is wonderful. This stands at 8" and has the most wonderful blue painted base to the contrasting leaves. Any thoughts?
Special thanks to Michelle for the ID and being a great friend !!
kevin, many thanks for the quick love.
Beautifully painted ...
The roses float on that surface.
The blue background is very different.
The white glass is so vibrant !!!
Looks pristine !!!!
Kevin, it is. I would love to know who made it tho :)
Lee, the enamel work is just lovely. I also really like the vibrant colors. You know, I have a vase with birds that has very similarly done plum blossoms, and from everything I have read and seen, I strongly believe it may be Baccarat. I have seen signed pieces very similar to mine, as well. I'd consider looking into Baccarat as a maker for your vase, as well. I can send you some pictures of other examples, if you'd like. :)
Michelle, shoot me a FB pic of yours please. Thanks my friend !!
That is exquisite, Moonstonelover, magnificent!
It really is divine Lee! You always have the most exquisite taste.
Beyond beautiful ! :)
wow! this just JUMPS off the surface! gorgeous!
Maravilloso
Lee - I believe I just solved the ID on this one - it is by Tischer of Karlsbad. I found an example by them not only in the same shape, but also an example in the same enameled background style (but burgundy instead of blue). Here are the two links:
