A bargain tip find for £1..............
This vintage Eberhard & co automatic Scafodat divers watch ..
Made in Switzerland ..
A quality watch !! In good working order with a few surface scratches on the glass..
The date numbers are black when odd numbers and red even numbers ..
The back has the starfish in centre of the stainless steel case .numbered Inside 11532-1
& 261-123
26 jewelled..
There are also dates scratched onto the inside back i think these maybe service dates earliest 10/10/66 ...
Is this a rare watch ??
I ask as I can't find another on the web !!
It has a single line where twelve would be (60s ones seem to have a double line) ..
There also isn't a minute hand ???

agree unusual, and I like that...sorry but this company, I have nothing to contribute. Truly a great bargain at 1 pound.... any watch exceeding 17 jewel is nice timepiece for sure and hallmarked as "Waterproof" in such a fashion, would suggest top-shelf .... Congrats on a excellent find, sorry I couldn't be any assistance, but will forward this posting to a couple friends who might shed some insight

Your watch looks 1950s-60s. If you look at the Eberhard history web page you can see they used that style of logo from 1935-70.

yes this is a different model , but you have a stunner .
I would suggest another wrist band for your watch and get it cleaned up and get a leather band for your watch.

I agree Sean it would look better with a quality leather strap but as a divers watch I dunno if leather would be the right choice!!
Think I'll leave it as is and carry on wearing my seamaster planet ocean!! :-)
