Howard Radio

Howard Radio Of Chicago Model 368. I purchased it over 30 years ago from the original owner and have it sitting on an old antique piece. I turn it on every once in a while just to go back in time - it still works! If you look at the picture of the Model number there is another number, -431, behind it. Do you know if this number might represent that this was number 431 produced of that model or a some other production designation? From information on another website I believe this radio was produced in 1937, but I can't find a production date on the radio itself. Any information you could provide about this or the Howard Company itself would be appreciated.
