This vase has green spots on clear glass. The interior is smooth and glossy but the exterior is textured. The texture isn't regular and I don't know whether this is to do with the iridescence or the glass beneath. The iridescence is strong and varies according to the light....blue, purple, gold mainly.
Pic. 2 The base looking down through the vase.
Pic. 3 The rim where the spots are elongated.
Pic. 4 Iridescence and texture.
If anyone could suggest what this is I'd be very interested.
Nice find. It is tough to say from the pics for sure, as I can not see clearly enough, but the décor resembles Loetz Diana Ciselé. Having the décor on a vessel with a ground rim is a little out of the ordinary for that décor, but certainly not impossible. It could also be a décor shift of Diana Ciselé by another firm such as Kralik.
Whoever it is by, it is nicely done.
Thanks, welzebub, the green spots caused me to look at Loetz Diana Ciselé but nothing there resembled the exterior of this one. The exterior texture, in part, resembles a yellow vase I have, also unidentified!
Thank you, Alfredo......speechless really!
