On back it is written First purchased February 22, 1940 in Tulsa, OK. It is stamped 505 MAPLE on the back. The top drawer is carved with a covered wagon being pulled by a mule and the the other drawers have carved half-wagon wheels for the pulls. The entire closet is cedar lined and it is all solid wood construction.
What is the mystery? Seems like you have a pretty good handle on the piece.
