This is a Longines pocket watch, with chain and the fob is a cigarette cutter. The numbers on the inside of the case match the numbers on the movement. The watch dates to circa 1912, the cutter is also dated, 1916. The watch is silver, and reads o900. The cigarette cutter is sterling, and the chain 14k, I believe white gold. The engraving on the watch is "2nd US calvary", and the initials, "ADM". The same initials appear on the cutter as well. It was mentioned at the garage sale, that it was brought back from France, by a family member, during WW1, which makes sense as the 2nd US Calvary served in France in 1918 for a few years. Oh, and the watch is working and keeping time!!
