Hand-Me-Down - What do I have on my hands?

I received this chair from my sister. Her and I know nothing about it other than a few comments from collectors here and there that it's a lovely chair. I have been trying to find out if it is something worth selling, having fixed up, keep untouched, etc.. any advise or knowledge on the chair by looking at it?
