Oiva Toikka is one of the great names of Finnish glass. He was born in 1931 in Viipuri (Vyborg). He originally trained as a designer of ceramics but moved into glass after in his career at the Nuutajärvi factory.
One of my first eBay purchases was this pulegoso goblet signed in full from the 1971 series that is called 'Iglu'. It was one of three glasses that I bought that day.
