Interesting, the inside is just as interesting as the outside. I don't want to seem to be rude, but out of curiosity how do you know this is bracelet is Gold, are there any marks, it does look the real deal. The more details you give the more people can help to identify. Good luck, I hope you find what your looking for.
Apologies, you did say this bracelet as no marks. I have to say it's a very intriguing piece. It looks ethic, tribal. I would love to hear other people's thoughts, yet again good luck, I'll be watching with interest.
I keep coming back to this beautiful bracelet. Would anybody think, it as the look of coming from Latin America. It would be great to solve this one, I've been thinking about it all night.

Not exactly the same but I do think cuff is from Latin America
Maybe Aztec or Mayan.
Very, very interesting!!! You may have it tested, if pure gold, it could be a real antiquity. :-D
Never seen anything like it.
I agree with you Kyra, good idea to have it tested for gold, I just have a feeling about this piece.
very cool.
Hardly aztec or mayan !! But beautiful and the first picture seems the best with
a beautiful artisan designed face on it, magnifique.
Thank you for your interest in this unusual piece of jewelry. I have performed all the at home testing and it comes up as gold. I will be bringing it by a local jewelry to have it professionally tested. I am going to check out the link that was posted above and see if there are any similarities. I will keep you all posted on what I find out. If you know of any antique jewelry experts that may know who/where/when - anything about this piece please let me know! Thanks again for all your help!
This interesting bracelet might have African roots.
PATOMAS, I'm very interested to hear the out come of this piece. Whether it's South American, or African, I would love to know the information you come up with. Please keep us informed.
bladerunner, From my point view I'm interested in this particular piece. I don't know if it is African or from Latin American. I would love to know the out come.
Sure thing I will definitely keep you all posted. I should have some info soon, after I go to the jewelry this week. In the meantime please let me know if you come across anything that might help me in identifying this piece!
Thanks so much for all your help!
UPDATE: I was able to have the this unique bracelet tested by a jeweler. It is actually Copper, not Gold. I also took it to an antique jeweler but he didn't know it's origin or age. Unfortunately this may stay an unsolved mystery.
Any way, it's nice you kept us informed. It is a lovely piece, maybe you should keep going on with this, I can't point you in the right direction. I still wish you luck.
Thanks for the update! Hoping we will know one day what is its origin :-)
thanks for the Update -- Finger crossed, down the road we may stumble on something.
Never say Never.........................
