I bought these for $2.50 in a local second hand shop this afternoon. I thought they were well made, and especially pretty with the real gems rather than imitations. Not sure what the clear middle stone is, but am assuming it's rock crystal or some similar stone. I haven't come across earrings like these, and they go along with my deep blue tiger eye & Sterling post earrings. :-)

Thanks, katherine! I've been wearing them every day since, for many hours, and no reaction to the metal. No green ear, either (shades of Barbie!). I would love to find a matching necklace. That would be something to see!

The blue cabs seem to have a cat's eye effect!
kyratango - those blue cabs are genuine cat eyes. I was surprised to see that when I picked up the earrings. I have blue cat eyes & silver earrings, and the stones are exactly the same.
