Although this is not in my "normal" collection of antique jewelry I could not resist this temptation because this is so beautiful. Dating end 19th begin 20th century?
This is a probably German Sterling Silver (marked 935) Guilloche enamel sewing kit decorated with light blue and pink roses guilloche enamel. But double nice because also possible wearing as pendant. The removeable cap doubles as a thimble. Enclosed within, is a triple bobbin for three colors of thread and a tiny pair of scissors.
Measurement: Guilloche Holder including thimble 2.2 "( 5.5 cm) long , yarn holder 1.8" (4.5 cm) and and a very tiny pair of scissors 1.1" (2.7 cm) including tiny copper handle: 1.6" (4 cm).
Possibility nice to wearing a pendant.
So now you have an idea how small is this all. I love it, are you?
stunning!!!

Hi!
I have a much more ornate version of this. It's all silver without any enamel. I was wondering if you could add a picture of the tiny scizors? Mine has the tripple bobbin but no scizors and I would love to see what they look like.
Oh my gosh, I just saw them. Sorry new to the site.
