      If in ohms, then it is for ck'ing resistance instead of amps or volts.

      He did not say what the scale reads bb2, and amps would be my last guess. Meters like this came with some car tool kits in the days gone by, (i have one), but it reads low voltage D.C.. No reason to read amps, and A.C. was not in the picture back then! PS, we are getting less and less up front info on posts of late?
