Purchased him at a goodwill in Niagara Falls Canada He is made of chaulkware has some chips and wear, was made in England 1930 stamp on bottom says NatureCraft CONCLETIN INDIAN CHEIFTAIN 1930. It is 9" tall x 71/2 " wide.
Very cool! Evidently there were not many of those made. According to http://www.bossons.info/Naturecraft.htm The story behind this piece is that the Canadian Railroad presented the Indian Chieftian to every one that purchased a transcontinental ticket.
Thank You you're awesome! Funny isn't it someone would get one of these and took the train because they didn't own a pony lol
LOL, yes it is very strange that they chose a Native American Chief as a railroad souvenir????
Bossons and Legend products are easily found in the UK. There is a Pub in Anglesy called the Pilot, where there is an entire dining room with walls dedicated to most of the face products produced.
